The aerodynamics influence on the relative motion of the orbital system of the two connected bodies. Regular and chaotic trajectories

The orbital system of the two "connected bodies"-two material points (m, m/sub o/) connected with the ideal flexible weightless inextensible tether-is considered as a dynamic billiard. This is the simplest model of the real space systems. The system center of masses evolves on the Kepler circular orbit. The main effective factors are the gravitational gradient and the aerodynamic pressure. The set of motion trajectories with impacts is considered in the phase space and the phase space structure is studied.
