Macro element approach for electromagnetic simulations in multi-physics and system analysis

The paper suggests a macro element approach for considering electromagnetic field computation problems in multi-physics and system analysis. The method is derived from the standard sub-structuring approach, through the elimination of inner variables philosophy and concludes in the description of the Macro Element model. The proposed technique is an alternative for strong-indirect coupling to model the interaction between sub-domains accurately and computationally efficiently.
