Possibility of MV multilevel inverter use as active filter

This paper discusses the possibility of medium voltage multilevel inverter use as active filter. The differences between low voltage and medium voltage circuits as well as the requirements on inverters are given. Further, the possible topologies of multilevel inverters and ways of the control are summarized.
