Relativistic backward wave oscillators with distributed output of microwave power

Application of the Bragg reflectors made as periodically corrugated metallic waveguide for microwave output in relativistic BWOs allows to acquire new positive qualities with comparison to traditional system based on a cut-off mirror. In the report various versions of implementation of the Bragg reflector into the microwave system of the relativistic BWO are proposed and results of experimental testing of such BWOs are presented.
