A new channel pin assignment algorithm and its application to over-the-cell routing

We study in this paper a new channel pin assignment problem for the new cell model in which all the pins an positioned along a horizontal line inside their corresponding cells. An exact algorithm is presented, and its application to over-the-cell routing is also addressed.
