The fuzzy control algorithm in copper-coated aluminum wire TIG welding system application

This paper focus on TIG welding of copper-clad aluminum wire with high welding speed, the thin copper plate, the small characteristics, designed a visual sensor used in recent acquisition on molten pool to fetch like molten pool in are area of real-time detection system for weld pool width. Using CCD visual sensor to collect welding pool in the direction of the rear of the tungsten welding, using video image processing circuit to video signal processing, to gain molten pool edge information; The MCU pool width, according to the information of fuzzy controller or are welding power source of the current by rapid control, so as to realize the control of molten pool width. The results show that the fusion width deviation is 0.1 mm, and error detection from −0.13 mm to −0.14 mm. It can be better meeting the production requirements.
