Program calculation and application of crack expanding weighting of cement stabilized macadam base

While using finite element to analyze the fracture and damage of cement stabilized macadam base, it's always a big problem to establish the appropriate model and choose the proper parameter to distinguish suspension structure and framework dense structure. In order to solve the problem, “crack expanding weighting (Rmin)” is proposed. By introducing the Rmin value parameter, allowable fatigue life and stress intensity factor of suspension structure and framework dense structure were separately calculated. Comparing the test data with calculation, the average error is only 16% though divergence is relative big, which indicates that the introduction to crack expanding weighting is scientific and feasible.
