Study on payment methods of expressway based on project quality

In order to promote the management level of expressway construction, payment methods of expressway based on project quality was put forwards. Firstly payment adjustment principle was elaborated and payment adjustment procedure was given; secondly the life evaluation model of project based on quality index was set up, and basing on calculating evaluation life and design life, the payment adjustment money calculating equation was brought out; finally the methods were applied on a project and payment adjustment money was calculated. Research results show that payment adjustment methods could find the relations between project quality and payment, which will encourage the contractors to improve the project quality to a great extent and advance the management level of proprietors.
