Update of the magnetic field (1hz–100kHz) exposure, nov. 2010 and its implication on the radiation law in Israel

This paper presents the latest updated of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) guidelines issued in November 2010. The updated guideline most remarkable change is the increased exposure level of magnetic field flux density at 50Hz allowed to the General Public. The paper outlines the scientific arguments that led to this relaxation. Also a discussion follows on the precautionary principal recommended in WHO Fact Sheets and the update implication on the Israeli Radiation law.
