Influence of field windings positions on two-axis excitation generators transient behaviour

This paper deals with two-axis excitation generators. The influence of the angle between the two field windings is described in this paper. The effects of field windings voltage limit and initial currents repartition are also discussed. Results show that performances are similar in most usual cases.
