Efficiency measurement of millimeter wave on-chip antennas

This paper describes a simple and accurate method to measure the radiation efficiency of millimeter-wave on-chip antennas. Based on the Wheeler method a cap is designed which is compatible with the coplanar waveguide feed of the antenna.
