Research on detrimental effects of the using of home electrical appliances to the human beings

There are reports that some people are sensitive to electricity, and electricity can cause some hip aches and headaches to people. The frequencies of human being' electroencephalogram (EEG) is of low frequencies. On the other hand, the switching in Integral Cycle Control (ICC) devices can generate low frequency interharmonics into the utility system. So we suspect that the ICC type devices in the household appliances to have effects on the human aches caused by electricity. Experiments have been done in this paper in order to find out the ICC type devices from the mostly often used home appliance. Current waveforms and analytical results for the light dimmer, oven, hair dryer and coffee maker are given out. Analysis on the experiments results find that the oven is an ICC device, and the relationship between its interharmonic frequencies and the human's EEG frequencies are researched using time series correlation analysis.
