The wavelet transform and its application to biomedical signals

This paper aims to provide a relatively simple introduction to the field of wavelets and their relevance to the processing of biomedical signals. The extensive bibliography contains both recommended material on wavelets and papers on their application to a variety of biomedical signals for differing purposes (e.g. analysis and compression).
