Analysis and structural improvement of the rubber part in packer in a way of non-linearity finite element

Packer's rubber is the central part, of which working mechanics is a typical material and geometry non-linear contacting problem. Based on the work principle of high pressure seal and block device in FGQ 9-5/8 “X7”, working on with ANSYS, here in this article, it analyses the touch stress and pressure in the inner wall of the rubber part in the way of non-linearity finite element. According to the work principle of packer, it can get the open and seal inter-zone theoretically. It optimizes the rubber wall thickness through some advantaged plans, which will improve the stress between casing pipe and rubber part, thus it can bear much stronger stress. In the way of ANSYS to simulate the deformation process, it can be tested that the pressure gap can reach higher.
