Development and application of ice bank precooling equipment used in litchi producing area

A new type of small-size ice bank precooling equipment used in litchi producing area is proposed, ice is applied as cold source in this kind of equipment so that it can be operated in litchi orchard without electric power, schematic diagram is given, the principle and characteristics are introduced, ice volume for precooling 500kg litchi is calculated. It shows that the new equipment has many advantages and it will be widely used in precooling field.
