Tellurite nanowire for single-mode low threshold supercontinuum generation

We realize a nanowire which has an optimized nonlinearity and a broad wavelength range of single-mode. For the first time a low threshold supercontinuum generation which is single-mode in the whole spectral range is demonstrated.
