The temperature properties of partially spatially coherent beams in biased photorefractive crystal

By using analytical perturbation and computer simulation, the effect of temperature on the bright screening solitons in biased photorefractive crystals is investigated. The self deflection process of incoherent beams is shown the main focus of the paper. The numerical study shows that the bending distance of the optical beams reaches its maximum value at the characteristic temperature and approaches zero value at low and high temperatures. In addition, we discuss that the dependence of self-deflection effect on the coherent parameter θ

and find the bending distance of the bright soliton beams increases, but the intensity decreases, as the degree of coherence of the optical beams decreases.
