Multi-channel technology based animated interaction in E-paper device

E-paper device has good performance in embedded mobile reading field benefits from many merits. This kind of display material is applicable for protracted reading and brings comfortable reading experience. This display screen technology has given birth to numerous innovative mobile application, such as E-book, E-newspaper, E-board etc. However, in human-computer interaction aspect, E-paper is still kept in a primitive level for the slow refreshment speed, Animated transition can show the process of interaction and give people timely feedback. It's good for improving user's interactive experience. This paper presented a novel and effective interaction method based on touch screen in E-paper device. Based on multi-channel technology of E-paper display controller, modeling paper bending and page selection animation are designed. The proposed interaction method achieved the benefits of timely response. The experiment and evaluation indicated that the proposed interaction method is more convenient and works better than common method.
