Holographic stereogram synthesized from serial ultrasonic cross sectional images

This paper describes the method for reconstruction of holographic stereogram by synthesizing a serial cross sectional images of ultrasonics. The holographic display is superior to a method using a three dimensional computer graphics from a point of the comprehensible display to observe the biological tissues with complex structure. In this paper the reconstruction of the human fetus of 18 and 15 weeks gestation is done and the photographs of the hologram illuminated by the white light ar e shown.
