A fast skeleton finder for artery trees in cineangiograms using parallel hardware

This paper describes an approach to the problem of fast skeleton finding in cineangiograms. The method uses a fast algorithm which runs in concurrent tasks on a Transputer cluster. Time needed for extracting the artery tree and its main features is less than 12 seconds.
