The development of EEG feedback control system

The development of a new type of two-closed-loop EEG feedback control system based on an IBM PC/AT computer is presented, and the specific measure of artifact rejection for clinical practice of this system is discussed. The system, with varied EEG's index outputs on the CRT and the printer, organically combines the EEG biofeedback and physical stimulation feedback control, and fully utilizes the latest achievements in the research on EEG's activity in transcendental meditation (TM) state. This system possesses value in clinical practice. By the utilization of this system, the EEG's activity may be effectively regulated. Finally, clinical experimental results of EEG feedback control are given.
