Pulse transducers for long term measurement of systolic time intervals: Application to Holter recordings

A modified Holter computer system is utilized for long term evaluation in ambulatory conditions of the ratio QT/QS2 which represents a reliable index of the adrenergic tone. Measurement of systolic time intervals is made possible by recording the mechanical pulse via a suitable transducer. Transducers of different nature placed at different locations were experimented and compared in terms of final parametre evaluation.
