A new information system for the management of medical equipment and the clinical engineering department

This paper describe the structure and the realization of the information system for the management of medical equipment and the clinical engineering department in the Helsinki University Central Hospital. The structure and information content are described briefly. The requirements, using facilities user experience and interface as well as interface to the other hospital systems are represented.
