Assessment of errors due to changing activity during kinetic SPECT acquisition

It is well recognised that artifacts can occur due to changing activity during SPECT acquisition in tracer kinetic studies. However there is little documented on the degree of error which can occur. The authors have investigated this problem in order to establish guidelines for sampling and reconstruction.
