On the Trees Whose Merrifield-Simmons Indices Belong a Closed Interval

Let n and d be positive integers. In this paper, we completely characterize all trees T which have diameter at least d(d ≥ 3) and with from second maximal σ-index to ⌊d/2⌋-th maximal σ-index.
