Dielectric and piezoelectric properties in the lead-free system Na0.5K0.5NbO3-LiTaO3-BiScO3

The solid solution of [(1−x)(Na0.5K0.5NbO3)−x(LiTaO3)]0.98−(BiScO3)0.02 lead free system has been investigated, where x=0−0.06. Changes in phase content, dielectric properties and piezoelectric properties are reported. Broad Curie peaks are discussed in terms of compositional inhomogeneity. The optimal piezoelectric charge coefficient is 214 pC/N when x=0.02.
