The research on the informationalization of engineering management

This paper discusses the informationalization of engineering management (IEM ) from two aspects. The IEM is one of the fields of informationalization and is also a kind of tools for engineering management. Then the author makes clear the concept and essential features of IEM. In the last part of the paper, the working p rocess of IEM, features of information system and the developing conditions are put forward.
