A graded process for basic electronic circuit design that works

Teaching electronic circuit design so that it "sticks" has to be a two-step instructional process that interleaves theoretical treatment with the use of Spice-based simulation techniques to attempt circuit synthesis very early on in the process. An instructional example demonstrating this is discussed.
