Methodology and rationale for the course 'computers in engineering' in the Greenfield paradigm

An introductory computing knowledge area was presented under the Greenfield Coalition's new educational paradigm. It was much more successful after changes in its administrative policies accounted for past student experience. The paper is a discussion of those changes and their rationale, how the knowledge area was presented, and how it affected a course presented at Wayne State University.
