Research on geographic information database incremental updating method

Geographic information database update is the basis for the running of Geographic Information System (GIS); Geographic database actuality decides GIS's vitality. There are different methods for GIS database update. This paper analyzed the contents of GIS database update and its common methods, provided a feature matching method to implement geographic information database update based on ArcGIS Geodatabase. Practice shows that with this method, geographic database update has less workload and faster speed.
