A Research on the Quality Assessment in Higher Education Institutions

Higher education in many countries has already entered the mass education stage. How to assure the quality of higher education with the limited educational resources is a hot topic. Quality assessment is a useful instrument to help promote the quality of higher education. This paper explores the basic elements of quality assessment and the rewards of quality assessment. Then the paper analysis some factors that may influence the implementation of quality assessment in higher education institutions.
