Study on Ecological Compensation System of Hydropower Development

Hydropower development brings great economic and social benefit, but also affects ecological system of the basin. In order to resume the ecological system, it is necessary to establish ecological compensation system of hydropower development. The content of compensation system including subjects, objects, standard and ways were studied according to the characteristics of hydropower development. The conditions to guarantee compensation system implemented smoothly were proposed.
