About the influence of metallic additives on copper vapor laser output parameters

A universal mechanism of metal additive atoms influence on copper vapor laser parameters is proposed to interpret the peculiarities, observed at injection of cesium, silver and zinc atoms into the discharge volume. The effect of thermal instability, caused by the additives influence on the plasma processes is discussed.
