VRML-Based Three-Dimensional Electronic Map System on Campus

Currently,the integration of two-dimensional electronic map and three-dimensional virtual scene is a hot spot.Firstly,the article elaborates the characteristics of the integration of VRML-based three-dimensional virtual scene and two-dimensional digital map,then deeply investigates the technology of the integration system of VRML-based three-dimensional virtual scene and two-dimensional digital map.It highlights the VRML virtual scene modeling,the realization of two-dimensional electronic map and the realization of the integration of two-dimensional electronic map and three-dimensional virtual scene,at last,it gives the electronic map of East China Institude of Technology as an instance of an object.
