Self-phase tracked fiber-optical parametric sampling gate for 640-Gb/s OTDM de-multiplexing

We demonstrate an all-optical OTDM de-multiplexer with in-built phase-tracking capability using four-wave mixing and cross phase modulation in a single fiber device. Error-free performance was attained at 640 Gb/s even in the presence of a rapid temporal drift.
