New Algorithm for Testing Stability of 2-D Digital Filters

In this paper, we present a new stability test algorithm for 2-D digital filters. This algorithm is based on the discriminant systems of real polynomials, thus it can deal with the stability test of digital filters with parameters as well. Examples are given for illustration of our method.
