A research of the switched reluctance generator system based on internal-PID control

The switched reluctance starter/generator has been concerned for its wide speed range, high efficiency and firm structure. In order to meet all kinds of equipments' request, the voltage performance generating by switched reluctance starter/generator needs to been advanced. The paper has designed the switched reluctance starter/generator system using internal model-PID control. And the simulation works of ISG has been done by Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results indicated that quickly voltage establishing, small voltage vibration and rapid dynamic response have been obtained by the control strategy. The internal model-PID control has good applied prospect in the switched reluctance starter/generator.
