Wideband phase comparator for high current shunts

A first prototype of a wideband phase comparator for high current shunts has been built at INRIM. It has been set up by a two-input digital phase analyzer connected throughout two active guarded transformers to the outputs of the shunts under comparison. The data processing is performed by an asynchronous program. By means of this comparator tests showing a good repeatability and a comparison of existing shunts were performed.
