Physical channel modeling for static mobile terminals in indoor environments

More customers are now communicating via cellular phones in indoor environments. In such a situation, the terminals frequently remain static while being used. In static usage, the mobile terminal (MT) itself doesn't move, but the environment around it changes due to moving obstacles such as people. In order to evaluate the QoS of such terminals, a channel model that takes account of stationary usage is required. We proposed a dynamic channel model for static terminals used in indoor environments. This paper analyzes the power spectrum of proposed model in order to easily generate the channel variation and to propose a simple formula for the power spectrum.
