P3-23: Peniotron and large-orbit gyrotron at H41-mode: comparison of efficiency

The results of optimization for efficiency of peniotrons and large-orbit gyrotrons at working mode H₄₁ of circular waveguide are represented. It is shown that at compared level of magnetic induction B⁰ the peniotron considerable surpass the large-orbit gyrotron: the peniotron's maximum efficiency reach 50 % at amplification band on half power 6,5 %, but gyrotron has maximum efficiency 14,5 % at band 2,5 %.
