Powertrain mount system optimization based on interior noise analysis

In this paper, the dynamic model of powertrain mount system was established after appropriate simplification with focusing on the powertrain parameters of a certain type car. And based on the geometry model of the car body and that of the cabin, a result that is the Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of the field points will be reduced with the exciting forces of powertrain mount being smaller under the idle operating condition can be obtained through analysis and comparison of the pre-optimization interior noise and post-optimization's. And the foundation of a targeted mount optimization was provided by this result. In the procedure of analysis and research of the paper, calculating the boundary conditions by using Finite Element Method (FEM), and analyzing the vehicle interior noise through Boundary Element Method (BEM) with combining the calculated Acoustic Transfer Vector (ATV) can be regarded as an approach of interior noise analysis and prediction which is referable.
