A proposed model to implement load and throughput of W LAN implemented as Wi-Fi system

WLAN performance has been shaped by a family of standards under the 802.11 designation developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE). Interoperability between products is verified by the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance, which grants the use of its Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) logo to products that pass its tests. This paper explains in detail the technical characteristics of different standards of Wi-Fi as well as differences between versions of different standards of Wi-Fi(802.11x). It also describes the technology positioning, and reviews the standards and technology associated with various usage models. An implementation of a simple Wi-Fi deployment using OPNET IT Guru Academics edition ver. 9.1 shows the results of this implementation.
