SQL/MM still image methods for image processing

Applying the base operations on images in data bases is possible thanks to using the SQL/MM Still Image specification, which is in the SZBD Oracle 10 g included. The main aim of this paper is the presentation of the application possibilities of Oracle InterMedia in image processing domain, using SQL/MM Still Image and especially SI_Stillimage.
