Using a low cost programmable power supply for automated testing

Seintek P6100 is a low cost programmable power supply provided with a standard serial port for communication. The goal of this study is to present novel software used to control the power supply. Adding an user editable configuration file leads to the possibility in using this equipment in bench top testing, taking the advantages of a both low cost and versatile, fully programmable implementation.
