Research and Implementation of Multi-device Content Synchronization In Converged IP Messaging System

OMA DS is used by the Content Storage Client and the Content Storage Server for synchronization, as defined in the OMA CPM Architecture. But most of the Synchronization systems are designed for flat structure data, which cannot be applied to the synchronization of hierarchical directory structure in CPM (Converged IP Messaging) directly. In order to fulfill the requirement of content synchronization in CPM, we design a synchronization mapping model of CPM content, a method for conflict detection and elimination on SyncML protocol and realize the synchronization of file/folder among multi-devices in CPM. Finally, we evaluate the effectiveness of the content mapping model and the conflict detection and elimination rules in a practical content synchronization system developed by ourselves.
