Discussion on the Construction of Optimal ZCZ Sequence Set

In this paper, a new method for constructing zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence set is proposed. The proposed method can generate two kinds of ZCZ sequence sets. One is based on perfect sequence, the other is based on perfect sequence pair. Compared with previous methods, the proposed method only need an orthogonal matrix of order 2 or 3. The resulting sequence sets or sequence pair sets are optimal with respect to the theoretic bound.
