Research of Frequency Choosing Strategy on the Route for HF Air-Ground Communication Based on SNR

According to the characteristics of present high frequency (HF) air-ground communications, this paper not only puts forward the function relation between aircraft flying position and time, but also proposes a new frequency choosing strategy according to SNR sorting. This new strategy based on ITS area SNR data ascertains the distribution of every channel's SNR along time on the route through interpolated method. Simulation results demonstrate the great improvement on average SNR and communication reliability on the route.
