Design of a pump for non-contact micro-reagents dispense

Minimum, fast, precise micro-reagents dispense is the indispensable key technology in life science, electronic packaging, chemical experiments, scientific identification and other fields. A piezoelectric stack pump for non-contact micro-reagents dispense is presented. A diamond-shaped micro-displacement magnifying mechanism is used to enlarge the output displacement of piezoelectric stack, a circular membrane to transfer the pressure, the holistic opening valves to control the flow, a micro-jet to spray liquid. Analysis of these key components to the pump's function for non-contact micro-reagents dispense in theory and simulation with finite element analysis software both statically as well as dynamically, pointed out the design principles of their structural size. The pump is compact in structure, and the reagents can be jetted as droptlets, fits in the distribution of trace reagents.
