Recent advances in HRC fuse technology

The vital role played by the high-breaking-capacity (or HRC) fuse in system protection is well known. As protection requirements have become more diverse and onerous, improvements in fuse design have kept pace with the needs of the user, and have moreover managed to achieve such design improvements without detriment to the all-important factor of cost viability
