The Problem of Persistency in the Life-long Learning Projects

The paper presents our experience on an e-Learning system based on the metaphor of virtual learning communities. The system was originally conceived as an auxiliary instrument to blended didactics of our faculty; now the system is extending to new experiences, in particular based on life-long learning. In the paper we will analyze the nature of the change, and the relation between the extension of the system to different learning environments and the serviced that contains.
